A Dog Goes West: Part Two

Styxx has settled into his new life as tourist. And we have settled into our roles as dog tour guides. We set aside our usual travel routine of long hikes, eating in fine restaurants, going anywhere we want. Now we search for dog-friendly activities and venues, not wanting to leave Styxx alone for even a minute.

We find find dog-friendly hotels. We eat pizza, Greek food and rotisserie chicken in our rooms. We research wineries that will let pets in their tasting rooms (many do).

It is a new way of exploring our country…for us and for Styxx.

  1. Styxx hit the jackpot when you two adopted him, the perfect antidote to his former life. What a dear one! I love all your photos but my faves are Styxx in the intro to this article and in front of the Paper Hound; and Spotted Lake.
